Inter Milan
Samir Handanovic – 9: The Slovenian shot-stopper put in a man-of-the-match performance, pulling off a few vital saves which preserved Inter’s clean sheet.
Jeison Murillo – 6.5: Read the game well and put in a solid defensive shift before being taken off with injury.
João Miranda – 7: The former Atlético man was a composed and reliable presence at the heart of Inter’s back-three. The Brazilian nullified much of Torino’s attacking threat.
Juan Jesus – 6.5: Back in his best position at centre-back, the 24-year-old was strong in the tackle and like Murillo, was adept at reading the game for Inter.
Danilo D’Ambrosio – 5.5: Careless in possession at times throughout the match, the former Torino man failed to impress.
Felipe Melo – 5: The 32-year-old was unable to show some of his previously imposing form for Inter, often being beaten and failing to assert himself on the opposition midfield.
Gary Medel – 7: One of the more accomplished displays from a Nerazzurri midfielder at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin, Medel was his constant bullish self, hassling opponents and breaking up play.
Geoffrey Kondogbia – 6.5: An improved performance from the 22-year-old was capped-off with his first goal in Inter colours.
Yuto Nagatomo – 6.5: One of the more maligned figures for Internazionale, the Japanese international put in a productive performance at left-wing-back, creating opportunities out wide and tracking back in defence.
Rodrigo Palacio – 6: Starved of support for much of the game, however, the veteran striker created the match’s only goal with a dangerous flicked on header.
Mauro Icardi – 6: Back in the starting lineup, the 22-year-old Argentine was, like Palacio, lacking support from midfield and often had to come deep in order to retrieve the ball.
