AC Milan

Diego Lopez – 7: Made a string of excellent saves to deny Inter, but could do nothing to stop Guarin’s goal.

Ignazio Abate – 6: Struggled to threaten down the flank and did not offer the attacking qualities he is used to.

Cristian Zapata – 6: Performed well in the game to deny Jovetic and Icardi, despite losing 1-0.

Alessio Ramagnoli – 6: Contained Icardi enough to deny the striker a goal in the match.

Mattia De Sciglio – 7: Kept Perisic’s influence to a minimum on the wing and did his best to get forward for the Rossineri when they needed him.

Juraj Kucka – 6: Tried his best to create something for Milan with a solid run through midfield, only to be denied by an excellent last ditch tackle from Jesus.

Riccardo Montolivo – 7: Controlled the midfield for the visitors well and hardly put a foot wrong.

Giacomo Bonaventura – 6: Was not as lively as one might expect, but did not give up in trying to create something for his side.

Keisuke Honda – 6: Struggled to get involved in the match and only mustered one shot on target over the 90.

Luiz Adriano – 7: Did not tire and got in through the back of Inter’s defence to record two shots on goal, although he will be disappointed not to have found the net.

Carlos Bacca – 6: Did not have the chances of his striking partner, but looked to find space in the dangerous areas as best he could.

Substitutions

Andrea Poli – 6: Replaced Kucka on 72 minutes but did not produce the quality Milan needed to get back in the game.

Mario Balotelli – 7: Introduced in the second-half and was denied by the post in what was a positive performance from the Italian forward.

Alessio Cerci – 6: Came of for the last 10 minutes but could not help Milan to snatch a point.
