Samir Handanovic – 6: Was hardly tested throughout the derby but made a fine save to deny Luiz Adriano in the first-half.
Davide Santon – 8: Provided the assist for Fredy Guarin’s winner and was solid throughout in his role as right-back.
Jeison Murillo – 7: Performed well over the match to ensure a second clean sheet for Inter in the league.
Gary Medel – 7: Had a fairly quiet game in midfield but did enough to help the Nerazzurri to the win.
Juan Jesus – 7: Made an excellent challenge to deny Adriano, but was taken off the field by stretcher in the second-half.
Fredy Guarin – 8: Mustered two decent shots on target and struck the ball beautifully to score the winner for Inter.
Felipe Melo – 7: Made his presence known in midfield to ensure the hosts got the points.
Geoffrey Kondogbia – 6: No key moments in the game for Kondogbia, but did enough to stem the attacking momentum of the opposition.
Ivan Perisic – 7: Was not as lively as he would have hoped, but set up Guarin for a header on goal with a well taken cross in the second-half.
Mauro Icardi – 7: Was lively upfront and almost put Inter 1-0 up in first-half stoppage time.
Stevan Jovetic – 6: Looked threatening throughout the game for his side, but could not add to his three goals this season.
Substitutions
Alex Telles – 6: Came on when Jesus was forced off the field and did enough to deny Milan an equalizing goal.
Andrea Ranocchia – N/A: Came on as a substitute for Perisic in the 85th minute.
Rodrigo Palacio – 5: Replaced Jovetic with just under 20 minutes left, but did not have any clear-cut scoring opportunities.
