Milan suffered a second straight serie A loss overnight and their biggest at the San Siro in six years as Napoli ran away to a commanding 4-0 win.
Allan opened the scoring for the visitors early in the match before Lorenzo Insigne scored a double with goals in the 48th and 67th minute. The hosts compounded their own misery in the latter stages when Rodrigo Ely was forced to watch his attempted block roll into the back of his own net. The loss leaves Milan in 11th on the Serie A ladder on nine points and having lost four games so far this season, the Rossoneri appear to be reverting back to their earlier struggles of the past.
The last time they endured a loss this great at home was by the Mourinho-led Inter in 2009, which was of the same 4-0 scoreline as today.
