AC Milan
Diego Lopez – 4: Poor night between the sticks, let down by bad defence.
Luca Antonelli – 4: Did not turn up defensively, booked for a dive in the Napoli area.
Rodrigo Ely – 3: Things went from bad to worse for Ely, not only did he struggle to contain the opposition forward line, he scored an own goal to top-off his night.
Cristian Zapata – 4: Gave the ball away for Napoli’s opening goal and struggled along with the rest of the defence.
Mattia De Sciglio – 5: Failed to provide any creativity in attack and lacked any real response to stop the visitors.
Jury Kucka – 4: Had a quiet game and was unable to provide any real aggression or spark for Milan. Well contained by Napoli.
Riccardo Montolivo – 5: One of few who looked capable of providing some attack, his teammates were unable to utilise any of it though.
Giacomo Bonaventura – 4: Usually able to pull something out of nothing, Bonaventura struggled to create any real opportunities for his forwards and failed to take control of the game.
Andrea Bertolucci – 4: Replaced by Cerci early in the second-half, could not provide any link-up play with his team.
Luiz Adriano – 5: Unable to combine with Bacca and the midfield gave few chances for him to convert.
Carlos Bacca – 5: Did not generate any goal scoring opportunities. Relatively quiet and frustrating game for the forward.
Substitutes
Alessio Cerci – 4: Provided no real impact to the game upon introduction.
Andrea Poli – NA: Did not spend enough time on the field to make an impact.
4 – This is the largest win Napoli have ever had against AC Milan in the Serie A history, four goals difference. Destroyed. #MilanNapoli
