Sampdoria

Emiliano Viviano – 4: No way he could stop the first goal, Bonaventura scoring from point blank range, followed by Niang’s powerful penalty. Horrible game, giving away the third for Niang to score easily

Lorenzo De Silvestri – 5: Brought down Bonaventura in the box and gave away a penalty for it, overall was terrible.

Matias Silvestre – 4: Unable to make any headway in defence, failing to contain any of the Milan players thrown at him.

Vasco Regini – 5: Could not match up with Bacca’s physicality or intensity. Did well to deny Adriano in the second-half

Djamel Mesbah – 4: Was befuddled by the footwork and speed of Cerci, losing possession too many times.

David Ivan – 5: Struggled to get any balls forward for much of the game, found himself defending more often than attacking.

Fernando – 7: Tried in vain to launch counter-attacks when possible, called into defence to really make an impact on the game.

Edgar Barreto – 5: A workhorse in an otherwise terrible team, made some excellent interceptions and strong tackles on the field.

Roberto Soriano – 4: Donnarumma gifted him an early and easy chance at goal, failed to make anything of it.

Luis Muriel – 5: Kept in check by the defence far too easily, Romagnoli easily closing him down several times.

Eder – 6: Struggled to gain possession, when he did he tried his best to make an impact. Won a penalty late in the second half to score a consolation goal.
