Mitchell Weiser – 5.5: Kept his head and played his part in defence when called upon.

Sebastian Langkamp – 6: A great defensive display before being subbed off early. Kept the Wolves at bay in the first half.

Fabian Lustenberger – 5: Did not show much to the forwards but was unable to keep them out all game.

Marvin Plattenhardt – 4: Disappointing performance against some creative play.

Tolga Cigerci – 6: Troubled the Wolves defenders on occasion but did not do enough to end up on the scoresheet.

Per Skjelbred – 5.5: Was forced to sit back further than he would have liked all game.

Genki Haraguchi – 6.5: The most lively player on his side of the pitch alongside Ibesevic. Was outmuscled by some larger defenders.

Vladimir Darida – 5: Did not have much of an impact but was not given the chance with some negative defensive play the focus for the majority of his time on the pitch.

Valentin Stocker – 5: Another forward who struggled playing directly off the counter. Went missing for large periods.

Vedas Ibesevic – 7: Was a presence in the air and could have very well left with a goal to his name save some great keeping.

Substitutes

Niklas Stark – 5.5: Despite coming off the bench, Stark played the ball well and tried his hardest to fill the defensive duties left to him.

Rune Jarstein – 6.5: Was the better of the two goalkeepers yet conceded two goals. Could not do much to stop them in truth. Produced a quality save from Draxler and was solid otherwise.

Johannes van den Bergh – 5: Could not do much in the time he had.
