Sergio Alvarez – 5.5: Could do nothing about the goals conceded and was not aided by his defence in any way.
Sergi Gomez – 4: Stuck to Ronaldo like glue but allowed gaps in the centre of the park. Hence exposing his team on occasion.
Gustavo Cabral – 2: A poor performance from the defender. Made several poor decisions and was eventually sent off because of it, leaving his team down to ten men.
Jonny Castro – 3: Appeared MIA at times throughout the game with his mind clearly not focussed on the task at hand. His slow pace allowed balls to be weaved through easily.
Hugo Mallo – 3.5: Failed with the runs of Vasquez and Marcelo and allowed them into the area on far too many occasions.
Fabian Orellana – 5.5: Had several opportunities but did not convert.
Augusto Fernandez – 5: Could not handle the powerful duo of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
Daniel Wass – 5: Had a great free kick opportunity in which he was unlucky not to score.
Pedro Hernandez – 6: Did not contribute much in terms of play and his header forced a spectacular save from Navas.
Iago Aspas – 5: Average match for the forward, where he had several opportunities but was unable to convert.
Nolito – 7: He was excellent throughout and loved to cut in from the left of the park. His goal was a brilliantly struck ball which went beyond the reach of Navas in the top left corner.

Nemanja Radoja – 5.5: Contributed well in the later stages.
Planas – N/A: Introduced too late to make an impact.
John Guidetti – N/A: Much the same as Planas.
