Adelaide United

John Hall – 6: Had little to do in the first-half, and could not do much about any of the goals.

Tarek Elrich – 7: Easily dealt with Garcia in defence, while also joined in with Adelaide’s attacks whenever possible. However, was exposed in the second-half as Adelaide searched for the win.

Dylan McGowan – 6: Was exposed for pace as Perth constantly caught him on the back foot.

Osama Malik – 7: Despite being caught out for the first goal, Malik had an otherwise strong game at the back. Out-muscled Sidnei physically and for the most part, was able to deal with his pace well. But like his defensive partner, was caught out in the second-half.

Craig Goodwin – 8: Posed a problem for Perth whenever he got forward and had the better of Harold in their duel as well.  Was the visitors’ most dangerous player in the second-half, constantly getting into the box and wreaking havoc.

Isaias – 7: Part of a midfield which controlled the tempo and possession in the both halves. Constantly had time to pick his passes and was strong in the tackle too.

James Jeggo – 7: Found the ball at his feet in the attacking third and got into good positions, but he was unable to create a breakthrough.

Marcelo Carrusca – 7: Suffered two heavy knocks in the first-half which limited his ability to control the game, but still looked dangerous in possession.

Mate Dugandzic – 6: Always looked to use the width to his advantage, but for the most part was well shackled by Warren.

Cirio – 7: His pace and guile caused issues for the Glory whenever they found themselves on the back foot. Looked the most likely of Adelaide’s most players to score outside of Goodwin.

Pablo Sanchez – 6: Bar one-half chance which hit the back of his leg, was not allowed a sniff on goal by Thwaite and Djulbic.
