Western Sydney striker Mark Bridge may be pulling for a Perth triumph in this weekend’s A-League elimination final.

Featuring on today’s edition of the Daily Football Show, the veteran spoke about the Wanderers’ upcoming semi-final and which team he would rather face between Melbourne City and the Glory.

“City are one of those teams where their attacking three, their attacking four, can create something and kill you out of nothing,”

“Perth you know what you’re going to get. It’s going to be a tough battle they are very solid and they have been very consistent [over] the last 10 or 11 games.

“Melbourne City is just that team with that unpredictability up front…so for me they are a little more dangerous.”

The 30-year-old also spoke about the competition for striking positions in Tony Popovic’s setup, with Brendan Santalab proving a saviour for the Wanderers both off the pitch and when starting.

“He’s been in real good form…even before he was starting he was banging goals away,”

“You want your team scoring goals. We had a bit of a problem with that…where we were getting into good positions and not taking the opportunities.

“We’re very lucky that we have that depth in our squad.”
