Manchester United wasted a glorious opportunity to seal qualification to the Champions League knockout stages after a drab 0-0 draw with PSV Eindhoven.

In the first half United threatened the opposition goal with Anthony Martial wasting the best chance when played in one-on-one, only to see his shot saved from a tight angle.
There was a lack of incisiveness and energy in the second half from the home side, who lacked a real sense of urgency.
The disappointing result puts Louis van Gaal’s side’s Champions League fate in jeopardy, sitting in second place just one point above PSV and travel to Wolfsburg on the final matchday.
Here is some of the best reaction from Twitter following the horrid result:
Schneiderlin so sloppy. Mistiming tackles, wayward passes. He’s a lot better than he’s showed tonight #mufc

You simply cannot spend £250m on players and still draw 0-0 in such an important fixture. #mufc
