Central Coast Mariners and Wellington Phoenix had to settle for a share of the spoils, following an game of two halves in Gosford.

Roy Krishna’s superb long-range pass found Michael McGlinchey free in space on the left, who jinked inside his defender with ease and curled in a wonderful effort to the far post.
In the second half the home side turned the screw and provided an onslaught to the visitors’ goal.
Time and time again they were repelled by the New Zealand outfit, but after a flurry of corners they finally made one of them pay when Roy O’Donovan powered in a superb header past a shocked Glen Moss in goal.
Both teams searched for a winner, although neither could create any clear opportunities to steal all three points.
