The Socceroos have completed a comfortable 7-0 win over lowly Tajikistan on Thursday night.
Australia never looked troubled, and for a time it appeared to be merely a challenge of putting the ball in the net on a scratchy Adelaide Oval surface.
Eventually the goals flowed in the second half, with five adding to the 2-0 half time scoreline for a 7-0 result. New Roo Apo Giannou was a key supplier while Tom Rogic scored twice off the bench.
It probably could have been more, with the woodwork clattered no less than four times. Yet the job was done as Jordan await on Tuesday at Allianz Stadium.
Here’s how Twitter saw the game.

From the looks of that pitch we might as well ask Giannou if he’s keen to roll his arm over. #AUSvTJK
