Klopp has developed spirit in the team
Before the German’s arrival at the club, this same group of players went AWOL under fire. Their shoulders slumped when the going got tough and inevitably, they never fulfilled their potential. That’s no longer the case. Klopp has instilled such confidence in his men; they now fight to the end, as shown by the grit they displayed when staring defeat in the face. Lallana’s last-gasp goal proved beyond doubt that while this Liverpool side may lack the quality of previous lineups, under Klopp’s watch they possess an intangible spirit that may be enough to see them surprise a few of the critics.

The Reds now face a gruelling schedule of three games over an eight-game period, Stoke City in the second leg of the League Cup semi-finals; West Ham in the next round of the FA Cup; and a monumental Premier League clash at high-flying Leicester City. If they can come through these fixtures intact, then Reds fans have every right to start dreaming.
