Liverpool managed to get their season back on track with a pulsating 5-4 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road.

It was a match that featured so much drama, including nine goals and a victory celebration that saw match-winner Adam Lallana booked for overexuberance. Pair that with the sight of manager Jurgen Klopp losing his glasses in the final celebratory melee, and this clash will be forever remembered for its excitement, its brilliance and calamity; a story of glorious attack and woeful defence. It was also a match after which fans of the Reds could rightfully ask: how good would we be if we knew how to defend?

In what can only be described as the best worst game in many a blue moon, Liverpool somehow snatched victory in a game that featured 12 shots on target and an amazing nine goals scored. Blissful for neutrals but torturous for fans of both sides, especially the Carrow Road faithful who could only sit in stunned disbelief as their side imploded and blew the game twice, first after having cantered into a 3-1 lead and then again once they scored in stoppage time to make it 4-4.
