Robert Huth scored a superb header to secure all three points for Leicester City against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane early this morning.

Christian Fruchs delivered the corner, which was routinely nodded in by an unmarked Huth past Hugo Lloris in the 83rd minute.

Tottenham players and manager Mauricio Pochettino will be left frustrated after looking solid for the majority of the game and losing in the late stages.

Kasper Shmeichel had kept Leicester in the game, after a sensational save to knock a Harry Kane shot onto the crossbar. Erik Lamela produced a delightful through ball, but they were ultimately denied by the goalkeeper. Lloris also produced an outstanding denial in his box to make up for Kyle Walker’s mistake, which allowed Vardy into a dangerous area. The Frenchman got down low fast, pawing away the ball with his right-hand. The first-half ended goalless, but each custodian was called into action to keep it that way.

Leicester City and manager Caludio Ranieri will be extremely pleased to walk away from White Hart Lane with all three points after being frustrated in London just days prior in the FA Cup.
