The gang at the Daily Football Show kicked off the first official episode by having a chat to Herald Sun football reporter Matt Windley.

The off-field issues blighting the A-League like the Brisbane Roar ownership saga was a big topic of conversation.

“Big challenge for John Aloisi in his first year as coach, but it’s really important to be stable off the field,” Windley said.

Windley also believes that Western Sydney Wanderers’ active support problems are completely unnecessary and not a great look for the A-League, but the way the club have handle the precarious situation has been great to see.

“You want to see that support grow and not be suppressed,” Windley said.

“Really like the way the Wanderers administration have gone in to bat for the fans, which creates a really strong club.”

And it would have been remiss of the guys not to query Windley on the two Melbourne clubs that he keeps a close eye on.

Always an engaging football expert to chat with, so enjoy the riveting interview as we edge closer to the beginning of the 2015-16 A-League campaign.
