If you ever want to see a solid demonstration of passing (and scoring) with style, take notes from Bazzaa_7, who makes it look all too easy as he picks up this week’s GOTW in Ultimate Team.
Straight from kick off, there’s no messing about. An immediate tackle on the opponent and the ball pops out for Lens, skipping past one before laying it off to Nigel De Jong, who quickly turns under pressure and releases to an open Kevin Strootman.
The smooth triangles movements are in full flow now. He goes back to Martins Indi first time, who pings it up to Gregory Van Der Wiel on the right, first time back to Strootman, short to Quincy Promes, and again to Wesley Sneijder, first time flick-passing it up to Georginio Wijnaldum.
A bit of close control dribbling to hold up the play, and he moves it on to Sneijder with a hocus pocus pass. Receiving it outside the box with pressure on, Sneijder works a first time fake shot to beat his man, squeezing between two defenders in the box and hammering it in across goal, top corner!
Great off-the-ball movement, flair passing, dribbling skills and a bullet finish to top it off, all in the space of 25 seconds. Brilliant stuff by Bazzaa_7, who takes out this week’s GOTW.
