In Week 13 of AUSFIFA’s Goal of the Week segment, “Bazzaa’s Smooth Passing Display” was the featured title. Six weeks later, Bazzaa_7 shows us again why football is renowned as The Beautiful Game, having scored a splendid team goal in Ultimate Team.
The play begins with Felipe Luis snuffing out an opportunity in his own box. After releasing to Aymeric Laporte, Bazzaa executes a total of 7 quick one-touch passes in succession, incisively slicing through the middle of the park, like a hot knife through butter.
Picking it up on halfway, the illusive Ben Arfa plays a pass to Koke in front of him, who then holds the ball up before cutting it back through the middle to an oncoming Blaise Matuidi. Matuidi goes first time to N’Golo Kanté, and upon facing immediate pressure at the top of the D, he swiftly turns back to lose his man.
With only a moment to think Ben Arfa comes across to make a darting, diagonal run into the box, which allows Kante to place a perfectly timed ball at his feet. Having little room to move between two defenders, Ben Arfa is forced to snap a quick shot on his weaker right-foot, but with great composure he curls it beautifully into the top corner past the keeper!
