Yaya Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk says Pep Guardiola once labelled Manchester City a “s**t team”.

Seluk’s comments continue a very public feud with Guardiola, who has frozen client Toure out of his City squad until the agent apologises for saying the Spanish coach humiliated the player.

Seluk believes Toure was left embarrassed when Gaurdiola omitted him from his UEFA Champions League squad.

Speaking to Barcelona-based radio station Cadena SER, Seluk was scathing of Guardiola, saying he told Toure exactly what he thought of his next employers.

Seluk also accused Guardiola of “liking money more than football”.

“When Toure left Barca, Guardiola told him he was going to a s**t team,” Seluk said.

“And now Guardiola has come to that s**t team.

“That is the situation and it is because Guardiola likes money.

“He likes money more than football. That is the situation.

“Guardiola only goes where there is a lot of money.

“Of course, Manchester City can buy whatever they want, they have a lot of money.”

“Guardiola talks a lot about how this or that agent is good. But the reality is that Guardiola protects the players of the agents he gets along with.

“If the agent has a good relationship with the coach, the player is good.

“If he doesn’t, the player is bad.

“(Guardiola) is coming to a place where Toure already is. Toure did not go to a team where Guardiola was.”

“It is true that Guardiola won many things at Barca. But Barca are Barca.

“Luis Enrique came to Barca and they have won just as many things that they did when Guardiola was there.”
