A player with european pedigree, Ninkovic flew under the radar when arriving from Serbia in the early stages of the off-season. However, a stunning touch and finish has earned the former Red Star Belgrade player cult status among the supporters.
As it is often with the foreign marquee players in the A-League, they can provide the difference.
