Dekker looking at home
It did not take long for 21-year-old Wade Dekker to announce himself to the A-League. The youth team graduate scored on debut for the senior team after a Faty mistake fell to Bruno Fornaroli who delicately played in an unmarked Dekker. The youngster looked composed as the defenders bore down on him and calmly caressed the ball into the bottom corner to give his side an early lead. With 10 goals in the National Youth League last season, Dekker looks like he could slot in across any of City’s front three. Expect to see more of him as the season progresses.
