Sydney FC

Vedran Janjetovic – 6.5: The Sydney FC man in pink did a good job today. Some significant saves. Could not stop the penalty.

Rhyan Grant – 6.5: Worked hard and did his job. Dealt with the Phoenix attack and had a good game overall.

Sebastian Ryall – 6: A veteran showing, cool and calculated.

Matthew Jurman – 6: Part of a defensive unit that kept their working until the very end.

Jacques Faty [c] – 6.5: The skipper earned his pay tonight. Tireless and strong,

Mickael Tavares – 6: A hard worker, has pace to burn and looked dangerous at times. Little reward and found Gulley a tough nut to crack.

Brandon O’Neill – 6: Some dangerous set-piece work, was solid without being a game-changer.

Milos Ninkovic – 5.5: He had his good and bad moments – silky play but rugged at times with a yellow to boot.

Andrew Hoole – 5.5: Outplayed Fenton and looked decent on his return from injury – his penalty looked like a dive, however, and was ultimately missed .

Filip Holosko – 7.5: Looked very threatening early on, often Sydney’s beast threat going forward in the first. Scored a beauty in the second and thought it was the winner.

Matt Simon – 6: Came into the game in the second-half, caused the Phoenix defence some problems and linked well with Hoole. Constant worker.
