With Leicester City wrapping up the top-flight title early, attention turns to the Premier League’s individual honours that are still hotly contested.

As the final fixtures for 2015-16 loom on the horizon, the gang at oulala.com have taken a look at a host of key stats in the tight three-way battle for this season’s Golden Boot – including the records of Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Sergio Aguero since the turn of the year and their recent form.

Tottenham’s hitman is a hair in front ahead of the season’s final weekend, so far recording 25 goals from 37 outings, while Vardy and Aguero both sit on 24. Impressively though, the Argentine has managed this tally from just 29 appearances compared to 35 for the Foxes’ hero.

Aguero therefore has a far greater goal per minute ratio of 95, with Kane and Vardy both taking over two hours on average to find the net each time.

Most importantly though, the Manchester City star proves to be the hardest to stop when in-form, scoring 17 goals in 17 games since Christmas.

With a broken hearted Tottenham coming up against Newcastle and Leicester having to travel to Stamford Bridge, Aguero may just fancy his chances to steal the Golden Boot as the Sky Blues face Swansea.

It would not be the first time he has stolen the headlines on the final day.
