Stade de Reims
Kossi Agassi – 4: Made a few saves that were relatively easy for a goalkeeper of this standard, was taken off after 25 minutes with an injury.
Anthony Weber – 5: Decent outing from the defender, although was guilty at times of failing to track through balls and on another day could have cost his team.
Hamari Traore – 5.5: Liked getting forward and was good in the advanced areas, did at times struggle coming back and defending against a marauding Layvin Kurzama.
Franck Signorino – 6: Made a crucial goal-line clearance in the first-half and was good value for Reims, struggled at times with blocking crosses and tracking quick PSG attacks.
Aissa Mandi – 7: A rock at the back for Reims, technically very good and demonstrated how defenders should play against the league leaders, was not afraid of making a tackle.
Prince Oniangue – 6.5: Played a role similar to Yaya Toure at Manchester City with driving runs from midfield. Did not have a spark though and was very one dimensional, still caused problems but was replaced after 55 minutes.
Jaba Kankava – 6.5: Deployed as a screener this game and did well tracking Javier Pastore. Would have liked to have sat a little bit further forward and had more help from his centre-backs though.
Frederic Bulot – 4.5: Ran everywhere but did not create enough to warrant using that much energy. Looked good but produced nothing noteworthy, needs to improve.
Antoine Devaux – 7: Played similar to Kankava but had more success breaking apart attacks from midfield. The veteran showed his experience.
Grejohn Kiey – 4: Did not have many chances due to lack of service behind him, wasted the one good opportunity to come his way.
Nicolas De Preville – 7.5: Adopteda ‘total football’ style mentality and switched positions a few times, played well for his team and hit the post with an effort in the first-half, later assisted for the Reims goal.
Substitutes
Johnny Placide – 5.5: Replaced Agassi early in the first-half and made some decent saves throughout.
Diego – 6.5: Provided a much bigger spark in midfield and was able to play the ball better to the feet of his teammates.
Theoson Siabatcheu – 5.5: Scored Reims’ goal and was generally more threatening than Kiey.
