Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris – 7: Was not very commanding with the aerial threat but mad some defining saves throughout the game including a fantastic stop to deny Otamendi a sure goal.

Kyle Walker – 6.5: Put in a good shift at right-back as he frustrated any wide threat that City came up with. Could have done better to stop the cross for City’s equaliser.

Toby Alderweireld– 7: Another typically strong defensive performance from the Belgian who is proving to be one of the best defenders in the league.

Kevin Wimmer – 6: Filling in for Vertonghen, the Austrian was often sloppy in the tackle and picked up a yellow for his troubles.

Danny Rose – 7.5: Overall, the English left-back was on point as he put in a solid shift in defence and supported the attack whenever possible.

Eric Dier – 6.5: Did well with his defensive duties and was quick to snuff out any major threats.

Moussa Dembele – 7: The Belgian was very good on the ball and moved forward with purpose.

Hueng Min Son – 6: Rarely put a foot wrong and made sure he stuck to his defensive responsibilities. Was replaced in the second half by Tom Carroll.

Dele Alli – 6.5: The youngster was closely marshalled by the City defence and he did a good job when on the ball, drawing out a few fouls. Did well in his own defensive duties too.

Christian Eriksen – 7: The Danish international was not too involved in the game apart from a few chances, one of which he took brilliantly to slot past Hart in the final few minutes.

Harry Kane – 7: Did not have much to do throughout the game and was out of it for most of the 90. But kept a cool head to score the penalty that gave Spurs the lead.

Substitutes

Tom Carroll – 6: Replaced Son for the final 20 minutes or so and did his job well.

Erik Lamela – 7: Made the difference when he came on and put it on a plate for Eriksen to guide home the winner.

Nacer Chadli – N/A: Replaced Kane with only a couple of minutes to spare.
