Offseason signing Marco Rojas has found the net again, handing Melbourne Victory a 1-0 win against A-League champions Adelaide United in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Coopers Stadium on Wednesday.

Daniel Georgievski whipped in a cross from the left-hand side in the ninth minute, which Rojas finished.

That is where the scoring ended, with Victory maintaining their perfect preseason record across friendlies as well as the FFA Cup, for which they have reached the last eight.

Goalkeeper Alistar Bray played for Victory in the match, still trying to earn a permanent contract with Kevin Muscat’s side.

Rojas himself has already rediscovered the form that earned him a move overseas, netting two times in two matches, with the first two of those strikes coming against Sydney FC last week.
