Levante (5-4-1)
Ruben – 5: Did well in a few one-on-one occasions, but gifted Barca a second goal.
Angel Trujillo – 5: He was the target of most of the threat from Neymar and Messi and, unsurprisingly, didn’t cope with it brilliantly – including giving away the penalty on Neymar.
Tono – 5: Got run ragged by the combination of Munir and Alves, and was at fault on Neymar’s goal.
Zou Feddal – 5: Did well to keep Sandro quiet, but gave away a penalty with some dreadful defending.
Ivan – 6: Coped well with Neymar in the first half, but struggled as Levante were stretched after the break.
Juanfran – 6: Led his side well, but struggled like the rest of his defence Barca were simply too good as they stepped it up a gear in the second half.
Jefferson Lerma – 6: The Atletico loanee worked hard and frustrated the Barca midfield in the first half, but struggled to keep up with a rampant Messi.
Verza – 5: Gave away the ball far too cheaply on a number of occasions, which is criminal against Barcelona.
Victor Camarasa – 6: One of the few Levante players that was actually able to get out and attack, and put in a few good runs in the first half but faded as the game went on.
Roger Marti – 6: Tried his best to get forward and support the lone striker, but struggled to get into the game or onto the ball.
Nabil Ghilas – 6: Given the thankless task of leading the line at the Nou Camp, Ghilas was predictably starved of the ball and chances. However, he did waste a huge chance to put Levante 1-0 ahead.
Substitutes:
Ruben Garcia – N/A: Replaced Camarasa for the final ten minutes with the game all dead and buried.
Deyverson – N/A: Had one long range shot, but that was about his only involvement in the game.
Victor Casadesus – 7: Came on and scored, you can’t ask for much more than that. Casadesus made a much-needed difference for the visitors.
