Dimitri Payet’s impact at both club and international levels over the last 12 months has been nothing short of astounding.

Following club chairman David Gold’s remarks that he would not even listen to offers of less than £50 million for the French playmaker, the gang at oulala.com took an in-depth look at how the West Ham and Les Bleus star fared in the Premier League and at Euro 2016 in a host of key areas – to see if the price-tag is a fair one.

The 29-year-old was at the forefront during West Ham’s charge toward the upper-echelons of the Premier League in 2015-16. Payet finished the season ranked second in terms of key passes in attack and third for assists, with a total of 12. Nine individual goals also saw him placed an impressive 22nd on the scoring charts.

On the international stage he has arguably performed even better. As France fell agonisingly short in their home Euro 2016 tournament, Payet would finish joint runner-up in the Golden Boot race on three goals and was possibly the competition’s most creative player – topping the ranks for key passes and providing two assists.

Based on these figures, West Ham may have a battle on their hands to keep his services.
