Crystal Palace’s woes at home have continued, following a 1-0 defeat at the hands of lowly Sunderland on Monday evening.

After a goalless first half the game sprung into life in the second 45 minutes, with both teams pushing hard for an opening goal.
The match winner came on 80 minutes when Scott Dann and his goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey got in an awful mixup and Defoe capitalised by tapping into an unguarded goal.
Sunderland move to within a point of safety, while for Palace it was a wasted opportunity to climb up to sixth on the table.
Here is some of the best reaction from Twitter:
There are games where Zaha and Bolasie look like world beaters and there are days when they look shite …. #cpfc

150 – Sam Allardyce has now won 150 Premier League games as a manager. Canny. — OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) November 23, 2015
Don’t know if it’s season defining or just another false #SAFC dawn, but good lord that’s a big result. Ugly. Nippy. Priceless.

Sunderland life cycle: 1. Start poorly 2. Get rid of manager 3. Improve 4. Stay Up 5. Repeat Works every time. pic.twitter.com/GZVjc7gvNb — BreatheSport (@BreatheSport) November 23, 2015
Dann getting the blame but what about Bolasie losing it in the first place. Terrible performance just getting what we deserve #cpfc — Carl Tushingham (@Tushydog) November 23, 2015

Still think swapping Glen Murray for Connor Wickham has to be one of the worst deals of all time by #CPFC #afcb pic.twitter.com/GvmFrXsaP9

As for Alan Pardew, always did struggle against #safc didn’t he. He’s a counter attacking manager, less impressive when his teams can’t
