Sergio Aguero
The Argentine forward has been plagued with injury problems this season but nothing seems to hamper his form when he is fit. He is already into double figures this season with 10 goals to his name. Like Payet, Aguero has also missed a seven games through injury but, judging by his stats, it would not seem so. The 27-year-old has become the fifth player in Premier League history to score five goals in a single game, when he managed the feat against Newcastle earlier in the season. He lasted just over 60 minutes on the day and managed to thump in the five goals within just 20 minutes.
There is no doubt that Aguero has goals in him and can virtually score from anywhere in the final third of the pitch. A predator inside the box and a danger outside of it, Aguero is the most complete striker in the Premier league at the moment. He netted a double in his last game and his side will want to see him continue that form against the Hammers.
Kevin De Bruyne
The Belgian has impressed many in his second spell in the Premier League since his arrival from Wolfsburg for a club-record fee. He has been part of much of the success that City have tasted this season and has scored a total of 11 goals this season, five of which have come in the league.
Apart from netting goals, the 24-year-old also tends to grab a number of assists with his exquisite passing ability and skill in dead ball situations.
He might have been fairly quiet since the end of last year but there is no doubting the youngster’s talent that can unlock the best defences within a blink of the eye. He will be key coming in from the wings and will have to be at his best to break down the Hammers defence.
