Stephane Sessegnon looked bright
In his first league appearance of the season and in a game that lacked any real spark or consistent attacking threats, Sessegnon showed West Brom fans what they may have been missing through his occasional flashes of skill and pace – causing real problems for Sunderland and many positives for the hosts.
Though Sessegnon’s good performances happen far too infrequently for Baggies fans to get excited about, as inconsistency has always plagued his Premier League career.

The West Brom winger sparked a melee after the full time whistle as his decision to celebrate and taunt the travelling Sunderland fans lead to a bad reaction from the players prompting, Danny Graham and Cattermole to confront the midfielder, before he was ushered away by his teammates.
