Manchester United have officially confirmed the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund after weeks of rumours. The Armenian international joins the club after arguably the best season of his career where he was voted Bundesliga Player of the Year, finishing with 23 goals and 32 assists across all competitions.

Swansea City have announced the signing of yet another Dutchman, in the form of Mike van der Hoorn from Ajax. The 23-year-old defender joins the Welsh side on a three-year deal, having 43 appearances for the Amsterdam giants under his belt.

West Bromwich Albion have made their first deal of the summer window, following the transfer of Matt Phillips from Queens Park Rangers. The forward joins after heavy speculation, linking up with the Baggies on a four-year deal and just in time to practice with his new teammates during the club’s pre-season training camp in Austria.

The whispers of Paul Pogba going to Manchester United have continued to hang around in recent weeks, with Fox Sports Australia reporting via Italian outlet Di Marzio that a world record fee has been agreed to for the player. The report states that the French midfielder is set to earn $19 million each year if he is to re-join the Red Devils.

Following their relegation to the Championship, Newcastle knew Premier League outfits would come knocking for their better names . The Mirror is reporting Spurs are interested in bringing Georgino Wijnaldum to North London this summer and have been informed that the Dutch international will cost them £25 million – as the Toon look to profit on a player who only joined the club last summer.

Bournemouth are ready to test the resolve of Liverpool, with the Cherries preparing a £15 million bid for youngster Jordan Ibe according to the Sun. Manager Eddie Howe is hoping to offer the winger a chance at regular first team football, as the England youth international has found opportunities limited under Jurgen Klopp.

West Ham are on the brink of securing Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore on a season-long loan suggests the Evening Standard. The Turkish international would mark the third move of the summer for Slaven Bilic, after the signings of defender Harvard Nordtveit and fellow winger Sofiane Feghouli.

In more transfer news for the Hammers, the Sun is reporting the club is hoping to hijack the move from Crystal Palace for Liverpool’s Christian Benteke. The Belgian international has been linked with an exit from Merseyside, after he failed to make a major impact following his move from Aston Villa last summer.

Premier League newcomers Middlesbrough are the latest to be linked with former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie, who is closing in on return to England according to the Daily Mail. Boro are said to be interested in the ex-Dutch international, looking to bolster their line-up ahead of the new season in just over a month’s time.

Manchester City are a club never too far from the headlines when it comes to the transfer market and they are now in the mix of  a £51 million rumour from the Guardian for Italian and Juventus central-defender Leonardo Bonucci. New manager Pep Guardiola is a known admirer of the player, describing as one of his favourites back in February.
