Bastian Schweinsteiger’s time at Manchester United looks increasingly likely to have ended after his training absence in the past 24 hours. The Express is reporting the German is set to be the first big name casualty out of Old Trafford, as Jose Mourinho looks to trim down his squad side before the start of the new season.

Manchester City are set to secure their latest summer signing in the coming days according to the Daily Mail. 19-year-old Colombian striker Marlos Moreno is set to link up with the Sky Blues after his agent confirmed his move to the Etihad.

Arsenal may have cleared the way for West Ham to secure the services of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette suggests Squawka. The Gunners are said to not be willing to pay more than £33.7 million in their attempt to bring the forward to North London this summer.

In positive news for both Arsenal and Liverpool though, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has hinted Jese Rodriguez could be sold in this transfer window. As reported by Metro, the former French superstar said he was not sure what the future held for the 23-year-old, who is desperate for more first-team football.

The Black Cats are being connected to a move for Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio by the Sunderland Echo. The Portuguese outfit reportedly are demanding a fee of around £20 million to secure the Argentinian’s signature, but Sunderland’s pursuit is made that more difficult by the fact the 26-year-old has only recently signed a new contract.

Hull City are reportedly close to appointing their new manager following the shock exit of Steve Bruce. NBC Sports is claiming former United States coach Bob Bradley is favourite to land in the hot seat at the KC Stadium.
