West Ham United have confirmed their 11th signing of the summer with Simone Zaza joining the club on an initial season-long loan. The Hammers have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season, with the possibility of the fee raising to around £25 million.

Manchester United are preparing to make their latest summer signing, reports from the Daily Mail claim. The Red Devils are reportedly weighing up a move for Sheffield United youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who earlier this summer saw a move to Everton fall through.

Despite Jose Mourinho’s denial that any more players will arrive at Old Trafford, the Daily Record is reporting two more defensive arrivals at the club. Their report claims United remain interested in signing Jose Fonte and Fabinho before this week’s transfer deadline.

West Brom are reportedly close to completing a deal for Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho according to the Daily Star. The 26-year-old would become the third Baggies signing of the summer in a deal worth around £15 million.

And in other news from the Baggies, it is now being reported the club will sign Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli on a permanent basis according to the Daily Telegraph. It was reported yesterday by Sky Sports that the 27-year-old was set to join the club on a season-long loan.

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma could be on his way out of the club in the closing days of the transfer window according to the Daily Mail. Their report speculates Bundesliga club FC Schalke could make a move for the French central-defender.

Crystal Palace are set to sign their second striker of the summer if reports from Sky Sports are to believed. The Eagles have already added Christian Benteke and now Chelsea’s Loic Remy could be set to join him on a season-long loan, deemed surplus to requirements by the Blues.

And in the second piece of news from Selhurst Park, the Eagles are reportedly keen on making a move for Everton midfielder James McCarthy. That’s according to the Mirror, who claim the club are hopeful the Toffees will lower their asking price of £20 million for the player.

Sunderland are set to face competition from Spanish side Valencia if they are to complete the signing of Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra in the coming days. The Sunderland Echo is reporting the pair are set to go head-to-head to sign the £7 million-rated 28-year-old.
