Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris: 6 – Didn’t have many saves to make but, when he was needed, he was alert. Was beaten at his near post for the first goal.

Kieran Trippier: 6 – Provided Spurs’ only width during parts of the game, and this was useful going forward. Only his second Premier League game.

Toby Alderweireld: 6.5 – He was strong as always, alongside Vertonghen. Even got forward a couple of times to have a shot at goal.

Jan Vertonghen: 6.5 – Also solid at the back and had a chance at goal.

Danny Rose: 6.5 – During the first half did not go forward enough, as Trippier did. However, during the second half was much more instrumental, and drew the foul that allowed Kane to score the penalty.

Eric Dier: 6 – Quietly worked well all game.

Mousa Dembele: 8 – Scored a superb goal on his favourite left foot. Spurs fans will be extremely pleased with his performance on his full return.

Erik Lamela: 6.5 – Played well and was involved in much of the link-up play. Provided superb crosses and passes, particularly aiding Alli with a ball that was headed just wide.

Christian Eriksen: 8 – Man of the Match with his two goals. Played well all game, definitely deserving his goals.

Dele Alli: 7.5 – Proving to be a genuine talent at Tottenham. Had several shots, including a header that went just wide.

Harry Kane: 7.5 – Scored the penalty with a solid strike into the bottom corner.
