You would never believe it, but SOME Liverpool fans are actually calling for Mario Balotelli to return to the club under Jurgen Klopp.
With Danny Ings out for the season through injury, Daniel Sturridge and Christian Benteke injury-prone, and Divock Origi inexperienced, the fans have come up with the novel idea of re-calling Mario Balotelli from his loan stint at AC Milan.
The Italian has made no secret of his admiration for new manager Jurgen Klopp, and recently even hinted at a shock return to Anfield via Twitter.
“Coming back soon…” he said.
The tweet has since been deleted but it is clear that the 25-year-old may have had a change of heart about a move back to England, and it looks like the fans have too.
Who could forget Balotelli’s Twitter spree before the 2013 Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich?

With Klopp’s arrival at Anfield, the futures of several players are up in the air, and if there was ever a manager to straighten out Balotelli, it would be Klopp.
Could the Italian find a way back to Anfield in January?
