The second round of the Capital One Cup was drawn directly after Doncaster Rovers defeated Leeds United 4-2 on penalties after it finished 1-1 after extra time.
It sees the victorious teams of round one mixed in with English Premier League sides not involved in European competitions.
None of the big clubs were drawn against each other, however, there are plenty of tasty encounters. Everton will face Barnsley, which will see John Stones and Mason Holgate return to their old stomping ground, Crystal Palace will play host to Shrewsbury from League One, whereas English fourth tier clubs Northampton and Notts County will be in action against Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
