The gang had the pleasure of speaking to Brisbane Roar youngster Brandon Borrello on the Daily Football Show.
The 20-year-old spoke confidently about the Roar’s start to the season, after their first-up win against the Western Sydney Wanderers.
Spirits were lifted further yesterday when the Roar players and staff were paid by the Bakrie Group, coupled by a recent spike in memberships and Borrello said the club is turning the corner.
Borrello started the club’s opening match and is highly regarded as one of the best up and coming talents in Australian football.
