Thousands of Liverpool fans crammed into King George Square, in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, to get a first glimpse of their current Premier League heroes.
Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, vice-captain Martin Skrtel and summer recruit James Milner modelled the official away kit for season 2015-16.
The raucous Australian crowd, who waited patiently for an extra hour listening to club legends Didi Hamann, Luis Garcia and the club’s leading goalscorer of all-time Ian Rush, were in a stir when the players were presented on stage in the classy white shirt.
The all-white New Balance away kit has a simplistic design that features a modern red collar, with red lines on both sleeves. Shorts and the socks are also be white.
