Berisha uncharacteristically profligate

The normally clinical Albanian failed to cause the Reds defence any major problems as he so often does, with his presence neutralised by Osama Malik and Dylan McGowan. Besart Berisha was wasteful on a number of instances, where he certainly would have converted the chances last season. Although, it will likely just be an anomaly, the lack of sharpness, eluding him could be worrying for the ex-Brisbane Roar man and for coach Kevin Muscat. With Archie Thompson out for another few months, Berisha will need to step up in order to ensure the Victory remain in contention for the title at the end of the campaign.
