Glen Moss -5: Beaten in two one on one situations, couldn’t do anything about the own goal.
Andrew Durante – 5: A little rusty from the captain on his return from injury.
Ben Sigmund – 6: Had an excellent effort on goal, defensively was average.
Tom Doyle – 5: Doyle struggled to deal with the attacking prowess of Victory’s attackers, was substituted.
Manny Muscat – 5: Much like Doyle, couldn’t shut down Victory’s wide players.
Albert Riera – 6: An average performance from Wellington’s holding midfielder.
Roly Bonevacia – 6.5: Arguably the hardest working for the Phoenix couldn’t create as much as he’d like to.
Vince Lia – 5: Came off in the first half with an injury, didn;t o much in the time he was on the park.
Jeffrey Sarpong – 6: Worked his way into the match, became more and more present.
Michael McGlinchey – 6.5: Had a couple of good chances but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Roy Krishna – 7.5: Was in everything for the Phoenix, consistently threatening, just needed a goal.
Substitutes
Alex Rodriguez – 5: Came on in the 42nd minute to replace Vince Lia, couldn’t do anything about Victory’s midfield domination in the second half.
Louis Fenton – 5: Replaced Tom Doyle late in the second half, did his job.
