Adelaide United

Eugene Galekovic – 6: went to wrong way for the penalty and just missed the free kick, couldn’t be blamed for either.

Tarek Elrich – 5: had a decent match but Victory’s wide men were more than up to the task.

Jordan Elsey – 4: conceded the penalty which led to Victory’s first goal. Not an ideal first game of the season for the young defender.

Dylan McGowan – 5: quiet game, did his job.

Michael Marrone – 5: replaced late in the match by Kamau, was outperformed by Victory’s wide men.

Isaias – 5: largely absent for the match, got a bit lost in the midfield.

George Mells – 4: made little impact on the game.

Jimmy Jeggo – 5.5: subbed off on the hour mark, wasn’t too bad.

Craig Goodwin – 7.5: United’s bright spark for most of the night. Had some of Reds’ best chances/

Sergio Cirio – 6.5: started brightly at beginning of both halves, one of the Reds’ better players.

Bruce Djite – 5: subbed off on the 60 minute mark, wasn’t present for most of the match.
