Chelsea functioning again
After a calamitous start to the season, Chelsea are finally functioning again. Against Arsenal, Jose Mourinho’s team continued their dominance over their North London rivals with a solid 2-0 win. Despite the controversy of the red card to Gabriel, the Blues were more fluid than they have been, especially in the first half. The likes of Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas have seemingly regained their telepathic understanding with one another and the game in mid-week has revitalised Chelsea. Perhaps also crucial was that the grit, resilience and dark arts of Mourinho’s men was also back here. Kurt Zouma in particular was outstanding and on this evidence, the omens are good for Chelsea.
