Numerous shots but few goals
A key factor which is appearing in many Real games are the number of shots on goal. While it shows the Galacticos are creating numerous chances and even linking-up well, the finishes are just not polished.
Scoring machine Ronaldo is seemingly focused most of the time, yet this cannot be said for some of his counterparts. In particular, the Frenchman Karim Benzema.
His finishing has been inconsistent and while his positioning at times is excellent, his focus and attention waiver during in-opportune times. Yet it still is early days into the season and coach Rafael Benitez’s goal of making sure the club has and retains a united front, has definitely had it’s benefits.
