Stuttgart’s home form is cause for concern
With only one point from their home matches so far in the league and two losses to boot, the old adage of ‘home advantage’ is starting to wear thin for Stuttgart and their fans. Although this was not a bad display on their part, arguably lucky to not steal a point before Raffael’s sealer, clearly the motivation of playing at home is not present in the squad right now. Manager Alexander Zorniger may feel inclined to try and drum into his players the importance of pleasing the supporters, however if this run continues, it is likely to be the fans talking for him.
