Tottenham Hotspur have followed in the footsteps of Juventus, selecting a weakened squad for their International Champions Cup involvement in Melbourne, Australia.
English stars Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose, France and club captain Huge Lloris, Belgium boys Toby Alderweireld, Moussa Dembele and Jan Vertonghen (although the latter is injured) and Welsh defender Ben Davies have all been left in Europe.
Making the trip though is Danish superstar Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Nacer Chadli and Heung-Min Son, as well as new signings Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janseen.
