Juventus travelled to Genoa in what coach Massimiliano Allegri described as ‘one of the three biggest moments of the season’ with his side in search of their first win of 2015-16.
The Bianconeri went ahead just before the half time break through an own goal after Paul Pogba’s lunging effort struck the bar and rebounded off Genoa goalkeeper Lamanna for an own goal.
A few minutes later Genoa defender Armando Izzo received his second yellow card and was sent off. Juventus capitalised in the second half with a penalty through Paul Pogba to go 2-0 ahead and win comfortably.
