Patrice Evra does not need replacing just yet
He may be 34 but Patrice Evra shows no sign of slowing down. The veteran recorded four tackles, the second-highest of any player on the pitch, also looking rock-solid at left-back in his last two games since returning from suspension.
Juventus have a quality player sitting on the bench at the moment in Alex Sandro, who will undoubtedly get his chance soon enough. However, it is Evra who will continue to hold his spot in the team and start ahead of the Brazilian who cost Juventus €26 million.
Evra’s form is a good sign for the Bianconeri that they will be able to count on the veteran this season and that he is a player that can still be relied upon.
