Playing against the Russians in a match that has since been marred by fan violence, Roy Hodgson’s men recorded 350 successful passes, created 11 chances, took 15 shots and had a total of 52% possession.

Conversely, in a 2-1 win over Slovakia, the Dragons had only 45% possession, while making 259 passes, creating seven chances and taking 11 shots at goal.
